Watson/Spradlin earn Week 4 honors The Miami Valley Adult Baseball League recognized pitcher Joey Watson from the Fairborn Post 526 Athletics as the Milano's/Buffalo Wild Wings Player of the Week for May 8-14. The Athletics (2-2) pick up their second weekly honor, following teammate Kyle Combs' selection during the first week of the season. Watson struck out 13 and scattered three hits over five innings in an 18-6 win over the Miami Valley Bats. Watson also helped his own cause by launching a three-run home run off the AIA scoreboard, his first of the year.     Indians pitcher Matt Spradlin becomes the first multi-winner of this honor in 2011. Matt continues his hot start to the season with a complete game victory over the top-ranked Slammers in a 14-2 win on May 8. Matt scattered three hits, gave up one earned run and struck out 8 to improve his record to 2-0 on the young season.
