7/3/07: MVABL All-Stars Announced

    The 2007 MVABL All-Star teams have been selected and the list of players attending Sunday's festivities are listed on the right hand side of the page.
    Leading vote-getters from their respective teams were

* Brian Duffy - Kettering Royals (.514 avg. 10 runs, 8 RBI, 6 2B).
* Joey Herren - Springfield Indians (.460 avg. 5 3B, 4 HR, 18 runs, 23 RBI).
* Jeremy Kilgore - Dayton Panthers.
* Darnell Young - Beavercreek Sox.
* Clint Wolf - Dayton Rangers (.446 avg. 25 runs, 14 RBI, 4 3B, 1 HR, 13 SB).
* Taylor Nakamura - Dayton Astros (.444 avg. 14 runs, 11 RBI, 11 SB).
* Ryan Benkert - Kettering Outlaws (.525 avg. 9 runs, 6 SB).

    Three of this year's participants were draft picks in 2007 (Taylor Nakamura and Adam Stewart of the Astros, Reis Pearson of the Rangers). The No. 1 pick in 2006, Ryan Benkert of the Outlaws, will be making his first MVABL All-Star appearance.
